Mission Statement
Nasa Office of Equal Opportunity Program established the Minority University Research and Education Division (MURED) in 1990 to increase the Agency's responsiveness to Federal mandate related to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) and other Minority Universities (OMU's), including Hispanic serving institutions and Tribal Colleges and Universities. The MURED is responsible for formulating and executing the Agency's Minority University Research and Education Division (MURED) developing agency wide policies, procedures and guidelines that enhance the involvement of HBCU's and OMU's in the Agency's mission.
